As you grow and evolve so do your dreams. You have to be able to make adjustments, I’m not the same person I was when I was when I was 20. A lot of people don’t stop long enough to realize that things have changed, that they have changed. You have to readjust, there is no definite path. All great, interesting people evolve and adjust.

Shane and I talk about jumping in the deep end and learning to swim. something Shane is accustomed too.

Founder of Actor’s Advantage, he has created one of the most respected Actor’s Workshops in Los Angeles. But recently his love has changed from Acting to Photography. And once again he has to learn to swim.

We talk about the importance of goals and dreams and how they force you to take action and live a complete life.

Stacey Storey’s WitMityl?

Embracing the fear of it all. You are constantly being challenged in ways you thought you never would be. I think life in general is about mastering fear, every day you have to stretch yourself,  face things, understand things and be courageous. You have to get over your fucking shit and your ego and all those things you are so fucking terrified of.

Stacey and I try our best not to sound like blowhards as we drink beer and talk about the importance of telling stories. We may not be on the front lines or doing brain surgery, but storytelling is one of the foundations of any society.

As I often say “The only truth man has ever created is Mythology”. We are both humbled and privileged to be doing what we do. And have mucho respect for all those soldiers, doctors and teachers out there who allow us to make such wonderful things!

Ted Prior’s WitMityl?

I treat people the way I want to treat them, not necessarily the way they have treated me. Treat everyone equally. It doesn’t matter if you are the garbage man or the star of the movie… More than anything, I have learned to be still. See what I have, appreciate what I have, appreciate what others have and be able to love that too. It’s not a competition.

Bodybuilder, Chippendales Dancer, Playgirl Centerfold, B-Movie Star, Assistant Director, Producer to Family Man. Ted could be the spokesman for Dos Equis but he was probably too busy doing more interesting things.

Our conversation starts on the streets of Baltimore and ends up with him and his brother making over 50 feature films together. An inspiration to anyone who wants to make movies.

Plus, he starred in Deadly Prey, maybe the greatest movie ever made.

Brea Grant’s WitMityl?

At the end of the day, when people have stopped clapping, when they have stopped asking for your autograph, at the end of that day you go home, and you are still you. And you have to be okay with that, because if you are not okay with being you, you are going to have a big problem… And once you are okay with that, when you don’t let all these other things define you, it gets a hell of a lot easier.

Brea and I set a record for most words spoken per minute in a Podcast as we talk about basically everything… However, we will have to do another, because #1 I forgot to turn on my mic, making you all have to listen very hard to hear my voice! and #2 as soon as I turned off the recorder I remembered that I wanted to discuss our mutual love of Silver Lake and how it has changed our lives.

Cooper Barnes’s WitMityl?

Things become demystified when you realize everything is not up on this pedestal… Everyone is just trying to work. And even the guys at the top, they are just trying to keep their jobs… One of the great things about film is you really learn the value of a day. every day is an experience, you value your time so much, and you can accomplish so much.

I have had the pleasure of working with Coop on more short’s and videos than I could ever remember. I have learned so much from him and his group. One of the Founders of the local comedy group Frog Island Comedy who most people know for Elmo’s World.

but my personal favorite has always been Parallel Parker!

Adam Mayfield’s WitMityl?
